Mo pitched a hitless ninth to earn his 18 save of the season.

Mo worked the ninth for his 16th save of the season and number 299 for his career. Just one to go until the big 300.

Mariano pitched the 10th and 11th innings in a back and forth game that the Mariners eventually won 13-7 in 13 innings.

Mo picked up save number 13 by pitching the final two outs of the ninth, striking out 2 and allowing noone to score.

Rivera blew his first save last night after converting on 27 consecutive save opportunities dating back to August of 2003. Fortunately, the Yankees took the game back and won 8-7 in 10 innings.
