Another appearance, same old story for Mariano Rivera. Mo worked a perfect seventh inning vs. the Phillies last night in a game won by Philadelphia 3-0. Rivera struck out one. In eight appearances this spring, he has only given up one run on one hit with eleven strikeouts, one walk, a hit batsman and has pitched to an ERA of 1.13.

Mariano Rivera on consecutive days for the first time this Spring Training. He worked a perfect inning vs. the Astros helping the Yankees to a 8-1 win. He has only surrendered one hit this spring, a home run to Marcus Thames. His ERA for the Spring is at 1.29.

Mariano Rivera worked a perfect sixth inning last night in a Yankees win against the Boston Red Sox at Legends Field. He struck out one. Because he has thrown so few pitches during Spring Training, last Sunday he worked at the Yankees Minor League Complex vs. the Devil Rays and pitched three innings, throwing forty pitches, allowing one hit and one walk and no runs.

Mariano Rivera worked another scoreless inning yesterday as the Yankees lost to the Astros at Legends Field. He threw eighteen pitches, striking out two, surrendering one walk and hitting a batter.

Mariano Rivera made his fourth Spring Training appearance on Tuesday afternoon in a game eventually lost by the Yankees. He worked a scoreless sixth inning, striking out two of the batters he faced.

Mariano Rivera worked a perfect seventh inning vs. the Braves at Legends Field on Saturday afternoon helping the Yankees to a victory. He threw eight pitches and struck out one and retired the other two batters on infield grounders.

Mariano Rivera made his second appearance of the spring, this time surrendering a home run to Marcus Thames. He struck out the side in his one inning of pitching. He followed Randy Johnson in a losing effort for the Yankees.

Mariano Rivera made his spring training debut for the Yankees by pitching the sixth inning. As reported by MLB.com he threw only six pitches and struck out one batter.
