Mariano Rivera recorded his major league leading 37th save of the year against the Orioles at the stadium this afternoon. He only surrendered a two out single to Brian Roberts but then got Jerry Hairston on a grounder to short to end the game. Its the 320th save of his career and ties him with Roberto Hernandez of the Phillies for ninth on the all time career saves list.

After blowing his last two save opportunities, Mariano Rivera rebounded and held off the Orioles to preserve a 2-1 victory for the Yankees and Kevin Brown upon his return to the rotation. Javier Lopez led off with a single that was caused by confusion between Jeter and Wilson on fielding the grounder. Rafael Palmiero then hit into a double play to Jeter. B.J. Surhoff grounded a single up the middle, but then Rivera retired Jerry Hairston on a liner to A-ROD to end the game. It was his 319th save of his career and he moves past Rick Aguilera into 10th place on the all time saves list.

Mariano Rivera worked a perfect ninth retiring Ramirez, Garciaparra and Nixon in order to preserve an 8-7 victory for the Yankees in a thriller at Fenway. Its his 318th career save and ties him with Rick Aguilera for 10th all time.

Mariano Rivera pitched the ninth inning in a 0-0 contest against the Toronto Blue Jays at the stadium. He surrendered a two out single to Delgado, but then struck out Hinske to end the top of the ninth. Ruben Sierra hit a two out homerun to win the game for the Yankees 1-0 and give Rivera his first win of the season.

Mariano Rivera recorded his 34th save of the year against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays at Tropicana Field this afternoon. After giving up a one out single, he struck out the final two hitters to end the game. Its the 317th of his career placing him one behind Rick Aguilera for 10th all time.

Mo did it again. He pitched a perfect ninth against the Detroit Tigers to preserve a 5-3 Yankees victory for "El Duque". It was the 316th save of his career which puts him only two behind Rick Aguilera for 10th all time.

Mariano Rivera pitched a perfect 1-2-3 ninth inning to complete a 9-4 victory in the All Star Game for the American League over the National League. He retired Todd Helton, Jack Wilson and Jim Thome on easy popups.

Mo worked a very easy 1-2-3 ninth inning to preserve a 6-3 victory for the Yankees on Old Timers Day at he Stadium. It is his 315th career save and moves him into 11th place alone on the all time career saves list.

Mariano Rivera gained his 30th save of the year to preserve a victory for Jose Contreras. Mo entered in the 8th with one out and two runners on. He got a double play ball and then pitched a perfect ninth.
