ESPN is reporting that, according to sources, Mariano Rivera and the Yankees have agreed to a one year, $10 million dollar contract that will include incentives that could allow Rivera to earn more. Stay tuned for official confirmation.

Earlier this month, Mariano Rivera threw off of a snow covered mound for a commercial shoot. Video of that shoot is now on MLB.com. Rivera also discusses his recovery.

Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports that Mariano Rivera threw about 25 lobbed pitches from the mound at the baseball field of Hackley School, a private college preparatory school in Tarrytown, NY. He was there to film a commercial.

George A. King III of the New York Post reports that Mariano Rivera has told the Yankees that he wants to play next season. Brian Cashman confirmed the news, saying that contract discussions will take place soon.
